Summer Choral Camp Planned at Northwestern

                Northwestern Oklahoma State University will play host to a choral summer camp for students in grades second through ninth interested in singing with Dr. Karsten Longhurst, assistant professor of music and director of choral music on the Alva campus.

Meridian Technology Center STEM Program Recognized at National Level for Fourth Consecutive Year

STILLWATER, Okla. – The Meridian Technology Center STEM Academy was named a Distinguished High School by Project Lead the Way (PLTW) for its Biomedical Sciences and Pre-Engineering programs. This is the fourth year in a row that the school has received this designation.

World Literature Today Announces Finalists for 2022 Neustadt International Prize for Literature

Amanda Cunningham, Joe Baxter to present Elm Tree Concert

ARCADIA – Oklahoma City singer-songwriters Amanda Cunningham and Joe Baxter will present an Elm Tree concert on Sunday, June 27, at the Arcadia Round Barn. The concert will be from 1 to 3 p.m. beneath the shade of the giant elm tree on the north side of the barn.

Convenience store owner pleads guilty to nine charges

Local convenience store owner Manjit S. Hayer pleaded guilty to nine charges on June 4, 2021. The charges consist of seven counts of trafficking in food stamps along with two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamine).
