High-Speed Chase Ends in Guthrie

A high-speed chase ended in Logan County on 2nd and Grant in Guthrie.  Multiple agencies from Payne, Noble and Logan Counties aided the pursuit. The chase began in Noble County and ended with the Ford truck driving off the road and flipping on its side.

Meridian Culinary Arts Student Works with Top Chef for Industry Fundraiser

Culinary Arts student Jazlyn Hancock lived out every aspiring chef’s dream as a participant in the Odyssey de Culinaire, a fundraising event sponsored by the Oklahoma Restaurant Association. The event pairs five top chefs from across the state with students pursuing careers in culinary arts.

Guthrie, OK (July 22nd, 2021) –Hitchcock meets hilarious in a fast-paced comedic mystery thriller! Pollard Theatre Company returns to live indoor programming with The 39 Steps, adapted by Patrick Barlow from the novel by John Buchan and based on the Alfred Hitchcock movie.

Recent UCO design graduate Nhi Pham took home a gold ADDY for packaging for “Folia” Perfume, and Kirstie Arnold won a silver ADDY in the same category for “Love & Death.”

The University of Central Oklahoma’s School of Design recently won two National American Advertising Federation Student ADDY awards, which honor the best advertising and graphic design of 2021. Central is the only college or university in Oklahoma to win at the national level.
