The Guthrie Rotary Club Student of the Week is Sage Duehning. She is the daughter of James and Dannita Duehning. Sage has been active with the GHS Cross Country team, Track team, Honor Choir, Spanish Club, Drama Club and the School Musical.

Tax Time Approaching Quickly

With talk of federal refunds and debts owed, tax time must be here again. The due date for filing an Oklahoma tax return is much sooner than usual after two years of extended periods due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This year’s deadline is April 18. Filing an extension gives you until Oct.

Candidate Filing Begins April 13

Candidate filing is scheduled for April 13, 14, and 15 for statewide, national, and county offices, Oklahoma State Election Board Secretary Paul Ziriax announced. Candidate filing hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the threeday period.
