The Guthrie Post Office will soon carry the name of a man remembered for both extraordinary courage and a lifetime of quiet service to his hometown.President Donald Trump signed legislation on December 18 designating the post office at 201 West Oklahoma Avenue as the Oscar J. Upham Post Office.

Logan County Aging Services celebrated the season with its annual Christmas dinner on Wednesday, Dec. 17, bringing seniors together for an afternoon filled with food, fellowship and holiday cheer.Volunteers decorated Highland Hall, served the meal and organized giveaways for attendees.
