DAR Recognizes Lt. Col. Kyle Brede’s Service in Guthrie

Lt. Col. Kyle Brede was honored Dec. 18 by the Samuel King Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, receiving the DAR Community Service Award for his efforts in establishing Guthrie’s Summit View Cemetery as an official Wreaths Across America site.

Guthrie Upper Elementary Students Lead With Kindness and Community Service

Students at Guthrie Upper Elementary are taking part in We Speak Life, a school based initiative designed to build leadership, service and positive peer culture among sixth grade girls who have applied and have been accepted into the program.

More Than a Meal: Logan County Aging Services Hosts Christmas Dinner for Area Seniors

Logan County Aging Services celebrated the season with its annual Christmas dinner on Wednesday, Dec. 17, bringing seniors together for an afternoon filled with food, fellowship and holiday cheer.Volunteers decorated Highland Hall, served the meal and organized giveaways for attendees.
