Driver arrested for DUI after colliding with downtown mailboxes

Conna Dewart Special to Guthrie News Leader Drive-through mail drop-offs in the downtown area of Guthrie will be temporarily on hold after one woman crashed her white minivan into the two large, blue mailboxes in front of the Post Office.

The Guthrie Rotary Club Student of the Week

The Guthrie Rotary Club Student of the Week is Ashlee Eichler. She is the daughter of Milynda and Bryan Eichler. Ashlee is active with Yearbook, Student Council, Mu Alpha Theta and Varsity Softball for 4 years. She is a member of National Honor Society and is on track to be a Valedictorian.

The American Legion Post 58 Replaces Monument Bricks

The American Legion Post 58 was at Honor Park on August 26, 2022, for a laying of replacement bricks. There were worn bricks that could not be read. By a donation of $500 from an American Legion member, we were able to replace 19 bricks in the first row in front of the Monuments .
