Tigers win Homecoming 18-7, improve to 3-0

Two second-quarter touchdowns from Tanner Rice gave Crescent High a 12-0 halftime lead and the Tigers (3-0) made it hold up in Friday night’s 18-7 Homecoming win against Morrison. Rice, who carried 17 times for 86 yards, added a third touchdown late in the fourth quarter.

Guthrie Public Schools Honors Legacy of Coach Clay Tarter

Tonight, the Guthrie Public Schools Board of Education formally approved naming of the Guthrie High School Track and Field Facility for former Track and Cross Country Coach Clay Tarter. This was a recommendation presented to the board by Superintendent, Dr. Mike Simpson.

Oklahoma State Fair returns to Fairgrounds Sept. 15-25

Autumn is approaching fast, and with it comes the 2022 Oklahoma State Fair. Thursday, Sept. 15 through Sunday, Sept. 25, the Oklahoma City Fairgrounds will come to life with demonstrations and celebrations of all of the best things Oklahoma has to offer. Gates open at 10 a.m. daily.

Logan County “Outstanding” Awards

GUTHRIE – Awards are given annually to the top 4-H members per age group who exhibit overall achievement in their project work. These awards were presented at the Logan County 4-H achievement banquet held at the fairgrounds this past August.
