Guthrie’s Territorial Christmas Opening Day

The Lighted Christmas Parade, undeterred by the cold and rainy weather, came to a close with the announcement of the 2022-2023 Territorial Governor and Jr. Governor, Carrie Ann Dennis Fryar and Jonah Lau!

Pictured at left, The General Daniels Thanksgiving Dinner was held at the American Legion Building on November 24. The dinner in its 19th year served approximately 90 seniors at their residences and had another 200 carry outs to Guthrie Job Corps and local residents. Evelyn Nephew who with a small committee organizes the annual event as expecting around 300 dinners to be served at the hall. Photo by Mike Monahan
