Guthrie’s sales tax and use tax numbers up again

The City of Guthrie’s February sales tax and use (internet) tax revenue is up again from December business numbers. Guthrie received $737,721.48 in sales tax revenue this month. That amount is 8% higher, or $54,336.81 more, as compared to the same month last year at $683,384.67.

Green Named Teacher of the Year

Tuesday night Guthrie Public Schools announced the elementary and secondary teachers of the year while honoring all site teachers of the year.

The Guthrie Rotary Club Student of the Week

The Guthrie Rotary Club Student of the Week is Allyn Orndorff. He is the son of Brian and Arceda Orndorff. Allyn is active in wrestling, Mu Alpha Theta and National Honor Society for 3 years. He has participated in band for 7 years. Allyn has had 6 Superior ratings in solos or ensembles.

Mulhall-Orlando BB teams head to Dover for district play

The Mulhall-Orlando basketball teams head to Dover this weekend for the start of the state Class B play-offs. The Lady Panthers (9-13) will play Medford (5-15) on Thursday night. The Panthers (7-14) will play Medford (7-13) on Friday night in Dover.
