Two Guthrie Residents Found Dead; Investigation Ongoing

Two Guthrie residents were found dead on the evening of Feb. 8, in what authorities are investigating as a murder-suicide, according to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.Deputies were dispatched to a home near 3800 N. Midwest Blvd. shortly after 7 p.m.

Guthrie Man Arrested After Shooting, High-Speed Chase

A Guthrie man has been arrested and charged following a shooting Tuesday, Feb. 2, that left one woman injured and prompted a high-speed pursuit, temporary road closures and heightened security measures at a local school.

United Way of Logan County (UWLC) announced it raised $194,119 during its 2025 fundraising campaign, celebrating the milestone at its annual Campaign Celebration on Jan. 27 at The Guthrie Depot.
