Absentee Ballot Applications Available For 2024 Election Year

Voters in Logan County who want absentee ballots mailed to them for elections in 2024 should apply now, County Election Board Secretary Sheleen Winscott said today. Any registered voter may request absentee ballots for a specific election or for a full calendar year.

The Guthrie Rotary Club Student of the Week is Wesley Silvis. He is the son of Shawn and Lyndsey Silvis. Wesley is active with Bluejay wrestling. He also attends Meridian Tech for welding and precision metal fabrication.
Last week, the Guthrie Chamber of Commerce held an official ribbon cutting for their investor, Boxcar Bakery and Ice Cream. Boxcar is located at 109 S. Division Street. They are a family-owned business that offers a variety of baked goods including pies, cakes, cinnamon rolls, breads and more. They also offer many gluten-free items as well as ice cream. TheLoganCountyBoard of County Commissioners Monday set a March 5, 2024 election for citizens to decide if the county sales tax should be extended for another 15 years. “This is not asking for any increase or change to the dollar amount of the current tax collected.

Father and Son Honored by OK Sports Museum

On Nov. 18th the Oklahoma Sports Museum celebrated Oklahoma Native American month, recognizing Mark and Rusty Ryal as the only father and son to play in Major League baseball, whom both are members of the Muscogee Creek nation.
