Scooter’s takes toy donations for needy kids

Scooter’s Coffee in Guthrie is spreading holiday cheer with a heartwarming initiative: a toy donation drive this Saturday, December 16. This event is about giving back to the community as well as bringing smiles to the faces of children in Logan and Payne County.
An early Monday morning fire in the 1700 block of Ken Drive caused extensive damage to the house. The fire was called in around 3:30 a.m. and required assistance from Oak Cliff and Sooner Fire Departments. The roof collapsed on the back of the house. Peppers Ranch Opens Four New Foster Homes

What: Pepper Ranch Foster Community will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of four new foster homes within their 240 acre community. As part of this ceremony, they will be offering free, family friendly Christmas festivities, open to the public.
