Polling place change for March 5 election

The polling place for Precinct 311 has changed, the Secretary of the Logan County Election Board announced today. Voters in Precinct 311 formerly voted at Generations Church, 2524 W. Noble Ave. in Guthrie.

Bluejays capture Buckle of Wheat basketball title

Guthrie High’s boys basketball team capped a busy weekend at the Buckle of Wheat Tournament in Kingfisher by defeating previously unbeaten Perkins-Tryon 6448 in the championship game Saturday night. The Bluejays (14-2) jumped out to a 27-11 first quarter lead and expanded it to 41-20 at the half.

Fatality collision claims two lives

Two people were killed last Thursday morning as a result of a fatality collision at State Highway 74 and Cimarron Boulevard in Cimarron City.

MLK Day Parade Marshals
