Legistlature In Budget Negotiations

State budget negotiations are ongoing at the Capitol. Within the next two weeks, the Senate will reach a budget agreement with the House and advance a spending plan to the governor’s desk before the Legislature is constitutionally required to adjourn by May 31.

Simpson Wins 2024 Superintendent of the Year

The Oklahoma Association of School Administrators (OASA) is pleased to announce Dr. Mike Simpson of Guthrie Public Schools as the 2024 OASA State Superintendent of the Year. Dr. Simpson was also named the OASA District #3 Superintendent of the Year.

Mulhall Marks 25 Years Since Devastating Tornado

The Guthrie City Council Tuesday was updated about the first phase of construction on the Owen Field Softball Complex. “City staff did have a prework conference yesterday with the contractor on that project,” said City Manager Eddie Faulkner.
