Logan County Economic Development Council to Host Federal Reserve Bank official

Chad Wilkerson, the Oklahoma City Branch Executive for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, will be leading a luncheon at Meridian Technology in Guthrie on Thursday, May 26.

Wilkerson will speak about the national economy, especially pertaining to inflation, and how the Oklahoma metro area and other Oklahoma communities compare nationally. Another topic will be the monetary policy at the Federal Reserve.

Having spent 17 years in his current position, Wilkerson is familiar with Oklahoma communities both large and small.

“I greatly enjoy seeing the Oklahoma economy flourish and grow,” he said.

With four kids raised in Edmond and a father who collects and sells antiques in Guthrie, Wilkerson is invested in watching the local and state economy expand.

“I really enjoy doing what I get to do … I like seeing how my job affects and improves people’s lives,” Wilkerson said.

While traveling on business, he often enjoys touring local businesses and places of interest, such as museums, to better understand the ins and outs of each community’s economy.

Interested in joining the ($15 early bird) luncheon from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.? Go to https://www. logancountyedc.org/ register to RSVP a spot.
