June 4th- Red Brick Nights- Grab your lawn chair and head over to Wentz and Oklahoma in beautiful downtown Guthrie for live music, food trucks, a children’s area, vendors and more! This annual summertime concert series is one you will not want to miss.
June 10-12th- Guthrie Renaissance Faire-Head over to the Cottonwood Flats for this family-friendly event which includes a kid’s area, vendors, food, artisans, food trucks, beer, wine, theatrical warfare, medieval jousting, scottish games, pirates, music, belly dancing and more! June 11th- The Hunt Brothers Band-Grab your tickets for this great performance at Byron’s Music Hall located at 211 E. Oklahoma. Andrew (fiddle & mandolin) and Jonathan (banjo & guitar) began playing at a very young age. Mentored by Byron Berline and John Hickman, they learned well and fast. Sam Grounds (guitar & vocals) won the Chet Atkins flatpicking championship while still a teenager. You’ll be amazed at the music that comes out of this threesome. June 24th- Guthrie Chamber’s Legislative Luncheon at Meridian Technology Center, South Campus- Join us for a Legislative Luncheon with our local and state legislation. Friday and Saturday evenings in June- Guthrie Ghost Walk- As you walk through part of the largest historic district in the United States you will experience the classic architecture of the Victorian/Edwardian Era in the town where Oklahoma began. You will walk the same streets that once hosted famous politicians, activists, actors, and outlaws. You will hear tales of hauntings, sightings, and the unexplained.
