Autoquip Celebrates 75th Anniversary

Autoquip Corporation is celebrating its 75th anniversary of providing innovative lifting solutions to the material handling industry. The company relocated to Guthrie, Oklahoma in 1974 and has redefined the industry with an innovative array of lifting solutions and advanced control systems.

“ The company has come a long way since its founding in 1947” said Autoquip General Manager Chris Kuehni, “It’s a tribute to all of our current 125 employees and those who came before them and contributed to the growth and health of our business. Their hard work and dedication has transformed us from a simple lift manufacturer to the industry leader working with some of the largest companies in the world.”

“We’re really proud that we still have people working for us that started when the company moved here in 1974 and are celebrating over 40 years of service. In fact, 35% of our workforce has been here for over 15 years and that’s a tribute to our community as much as the company. We’re proud to be here in Guthrie, and look forward to continuing to support the community as we grow.”

Autoquip designs and manufactures material positioning and handling equipment. These products facilitate lifting heavy parts and materials to let companies assemble, package, or move products more safely and efficiently.

The company designs and builds material handling solutions for some of the largest and best known companies in the U.S. including Amazon, Boeing, Pratt Whitney, FedEx, Space X, Blue Origin, and CVS among others.

“We’re going to be celebrating this milestone anniversary all year long and are planning a company event in Guthrie for this fall for our employees, community officials, customers, suppliers, and owners.”

Autoquip is the largest manufacturing employer in Guthrie, Oklahoma. It is owned by Miner Enterprises, a family company that is solidly focused on continuing to develop Autoquip as a best-in-class company in the heartland of America.
