Mayer, Olmsted Go Back-to-Back with Stillwater Title

Guthrie’s No. 1 doubles team of Jaxson Mayer and Carson Olmsted battled to a first-place finish at the Stillwater Tournament on March 28. The duo defeated 6A Stillwater in a thirdset tiebreaker, 15-3, and secured the tournament title with a 10-3 thirdset tiebreaker win over Ponca City.

Hot Putters, Strong Finishes: Boys Golf Team Claims Pair of Runner-Up Trophies

The boys golf team turned in an impressive week on the course, earning two runner-up finishes in tournament play while posting multiple career-best rounds.Leading the charge was Luke Watkins, who captured medalist honors at the Pawnee Invitational with a 3-over-par 75.

Logan County students were honored by the Oklahoma State University Ferguson College of Agriculture with academic scholarship support for the 2026-2027 academic year. The scholarships were awarded at the 2026 Scholarship and Awards banquet, hosted by the Ferguson College on March 26.

Blue Jays Hit It Big in District Baseball Showdowns

Hayden Clymer continues to prove his worth as a hitter for Guthrie High’s baseball team, which has won six of its first seven district games. Clymer had two hits, drove in two runs and scored four times in a doubleheader sweep of Southeast on March 23.
