Lady Jays Blast Way to Second Straight District Softball Title

After powering their way to a second straight Class 5A district title, the Lady Jays slow-pitch softball team is moving on.Guthrie (12-6) is scheduled to play Thursday at Tecumseh to open regional play, but that could change because of rain in the forecast.

Guthrie Tennis Earns Top Finishes at 5A Championships

The Guthrie High School tennis program turned in a strong showing at the Class 5A Public School State Championships on , with both the girls and boys teams earning top finishes against tough competition.

Guthrie loses twice in Big Cat Classic Kara Tarrant’s slowpitch softball team was back in action Monday for the first time in 11 days and played like it against Class 6A No. 2 Choctaw and No. 10 Yukon at the Big Cat Classic in Yukon.

Guthrie baseball back on track after twin losses to Carl Albert

Terry Bennett’s baseball team needed a split with Class 5A district opponent Carl Albert, just like the one it got with Noble earlier this month.That didn’t happen. Two days after losing 16-5 at Carl Albert, Guthrie absorbed a 2113 loss to the Titans at home on April 15.
