The Bluejays were scheduled to go to Piedmont (19-3,9-0) last night for the second game of the district series. The Bluejays host the 89er Invitational this weekend at Squires Field. Guthrie will play Harrah at 10 a.m. Thursday and Duncan at 4:45 p.m. Thursday to open the tournament. The Bluejays went 3-1 over the weekend in tournament action in Duncan. They beat Marlow in the wind 22-19 on April 7. They beat Elgin 11-1 and Altus 15-7 on April 8. The Bluejays lost to Norman for the second time this season on April 9 11-1 to finish the tournament. After the tournament this weekend, Carl Albert (12-9,7-0) comes to Guthrie April 18 for another key district game. Photos by Brett Tennyson
