Guthrie defeats Xavier AJROTC

Shooting their highest score of the season Guthrie AJROTC defeated Xavier AJROTC 892.5 to 867.2 in the 2024 National Sporter Air Rifle League. Their fourth win in a row. Guthrie AJROTC was led by Jesseana Holder who shot a 243.3.

The Guthrie Rotary Club Student of the Week is Jack Arballo. He is the son of Jaclyn and John Arballo. Jack is active in marching & concert band, FFA, Key Club, Science Club and Culinary Arts from Meridian Technology.

10/28/24 04:11 AM Drunk Driver: 800 block N Broad, Caller advised 3-4 females were at his residence and were drinking. Caller advised the females got mad and left while drunk. The call was transitioned to OHP for follow-up.

Attorney General warns of contractor fraud

Attorney General Gentner Drummond is urging Oklahoma residents to watch out for contractor fraud in the wake of this weekend’s severe weather. Drummond said the weeks following damaging storms and tornadoes are a common time for fraudsters to prey on those who suffered storm damage.
