Logan County 4-H Has Talent Contest Winners

SubmittedCongratulations to 4-H participants who performed their musical, dance and comedy acts on December 9 at the Logan County Fairgrounds Education Building. The contest is designed to show their skills on stage and build relationships by working with others in team competition.

City Council approves water bill waiver

Story by Van MitchellThe Guthrie City Council Tuesday approved waiving the difference between the estimated consumption and the actual consumption for all affected customers from June-November 2024 who received higher-than-normal water bills.The waiver will cost the City $45,000 in lost revenue.

Jonquil Club Makes Donation

This Holiday season, the Guthrie Jonquil Club proudly donated $300 of their funds to the Guthrie High School and Junior High nutrition program to assist in paying down lunch debts at these 2 schools. President Jennifer Husmann presented Latoya Jones, the child nutrition director, the checks.

‘Twas the night before Christmas in Guthrie so bright, City staff was preparing, as the end of event season was nigh. The lights were hung from downtown buildings with care, In hopes that many visitors soon would be there.
