Council Approves Grant for Multi Discipline Training Center, Off-Site Communications Center

The Guthrie City Council on Monday approved the awarding of a grant from the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management (ODEM) funding up to 50% of a multi discipline training center, and off-site communications center.The grant totals $928,418.

The Logan County Board of Commissioners on Monday approved an Interlocal Cooperation agreement with the Oklahoma Purchasing System.The Oklahoma Purchasing System (“TOPS”) is a Cooperative Purchasing Program established under the Oklahoma Interlocal Cooperation Act.

Guthrie AJROTC bests Clark AFJROTC for win No. 2

The Guthrie Army Junior ROTC air rifle team won its second competition of the year over Clark AFJROTC (San Antonio) by a score of 885.3 to 844.7 in a week-long event.Jesseana Holder led Guthrie with a score of 241.
