The Logan County Board of Commissioners recently approved a resolution establishing the 2025 Longevity Pay Program for county employees and declared Nov. 10 as County Employee Appreciation Day. County business hours on that day will be from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Bike Night at the Rock Pays Off

Thanks to the community and sponsor support of Bike Night at the Rock, a motorcycle enthusiast event held once a month this past May through September, Bike Night organizer Ryan Tennill was able to present the Guthrie Band Boosters with a $3,000 donation on Tuesday, October 7th.

Construction officials dive in with Highland Pool options, costs

Options for repairing or replacing the aging Highland Park pool, along with projected costs, were discussed at Tuesday’s City Council meeting.Aaron Stoops with Crossland Construction and Daniel Smith with GH2 Architects addressed the board members.“We looked at three different options,” Stoops said.
