Guthrie Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Support Staff Appreciation Bus Tour this week, with chamber representatives, ambassadors and school officials traveling across the district to celebrate support staff members throughout Guthrie Public Schools.

Members of the Guthrie FFA Chapter earned multiple top honors during the 100th Oklahoma FFA Convention and Expo held May 6 at the BOK Center in Tulsa.Zachary Allen received the Oklahoma FFA State Star in Agribusiness award, one of the organization’s highest individual honors.

The Guthrie Rotary Club Students of the Week are Julian Duncan and John Allen. Julian is the son of Kyle Duncan, Sr. and Jessica Watkins. He is active in basketball, Special Olympics and FFA. After graduation, Julian plans to work in Landscaping. John Allen is the son of Vanya and Shawn Allen.
