Chamber Delivers Smiles Across School District

Guthrie Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Support Staff Appreciation Bus Tour this week, with chamber representatives, ambassadors and school officials traveling across the district to celebrate support staff members throughout Guthrie Public Schools.

Hands-On Learning Sparks Interest in Trade Careers for GJCC Students

Students and staff from the Guthrie Job Corps Center’s Hard Trades departments visited the IBEW Local Union 1141 on April 29, gaining firsthand exposure to apprenticeship opportunities in the electrical and specialized trades.

The Guthrie Rotary Club Students of the Week are Julian Duncan and John Allen. Julian is the son of Kyle Duncan, Sr. and Jessica Watkins. He is active in basketball, Special Olympics and FFA. After graduation, Julian plans to work in Landscaping. John Allen is the son of Vanya and Shawn Allen.
