Voter Registration Deadline Approaches

Friday, January 19, is the last day to apply for voter registration in order to be eligible to vote in the February 13 Edmond SD I-12 Special School Election, Logan County Election Board Secretary Sheleen Winscott said today.

The Logan County branch of the NAACP is set to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with its annual parade, scheduled for Monday, January 15, 2024, at 10:00 A.M.

A Twister… a lot of them!

According to the US National Weather Service in Norman, 2023 was an above average year for tornados in Oklahoma. 74 tornados were recorded in the state exceeding the annual average of 57.

County Commissioners Conduct Annual Jail Inspection

The county commissioners met to conduct the annual inspection of the Logan County Jail this past Tuesday, January 2nd. The inspection, conducted by Logan County Sheriff Damon Devereaux, came after the commissioners opened their first official meeting of 2024 at 9:00am on Tuesday.
