Students in Guthrie High School’s Class of 2024 completed their 13-year journey from kindergarten to Friday’s celebratory graduation ceremony in front of a packed crowd at Jelsma Stadium.

Mulhall-Orlando Celebrates Graduation

 Mulhall-Orlando’s Class of 2024 celebrated 15 seniors who graduated Friday in front of friends and family. The ceremony included roses to the loved ones, a video slide show, and speeches from Salutatorian Briley Harman and Valedictorian Casyn Larman.

Logan County man arrested in road rage shooting

By: Trey DallasA Logan County businessman was arrested Wednesday, not long after a road rage incident involving shots fired at another car.Logan County deputies were dispatched to the incident that occurred around 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 33 and Broadway.

Guthrie Rotary Student of the Week

The Guthrie Rotary Club Student of the Week is Hank Hinkle. He is the son of Terry and Kim Hinkle. Hank has been active in football, baseball and golf. Hank is a member of National Honor Society, the UCO Leadership Academy, he received the Hoby Leadership Award and attended Boys State.

April 29, 10:30 AM - LARCENY: A white male in a hoodie and ripped faded jeans going towards a vehicle, getting into a red 4-door Honda hatchback, cutting through back end of the parking lot, turned to go out the went northbound on Division. Vehicle is occupied, caller advised they stole some drinks.

Weathers retires from Coyle

Coyle High School Principal/ Athletic Director Shane Weathers is retiring on June 30 after 32 years in the school district. Weathers has served in multiple capacities over the years and restarted the football program in 2004. He has coached football, basketball, and track over the years.
