Jerry Gammill and Jamie Newton of the Guthrie Kiwanis Club present the club’s Sophomore of the Year award to Miss McKenna Bench at the May school board meeting. Miss Bench received a certificate and a check for $250.00. She will also be entered into the Texas/Oklahoma Kiwanis District Sophomore of the Year contest for which the winner receives a scholarship of $600.00, payable when they enter college, university, or technical school.
