Sen. Chuck Hall, R-Perry, issued the following statement after two Logan County deputies were injured during an officer-involved shooting this afternoon.
“My thoughts and prayers are with the brave deputies who were shot while responding to a domestic violence call this afternoon,” said Sen. Chuck Hall, R-Perry. “I’m relieved to hear that their injuries are not life-threatening and that both officers are in stable condition. These deputies risked their lives to protect Oklahomans, and we owe them a deep debt of gratitude for their service. They are true heroes, and we must never take their courage and dedication for granted.”
