Herendeen, Hall Win 5A State Titles at Wrestling Championships

Guthrie senior wrestlers Kaedin Herendeen and Bryson Hall tied the bow on a special season after both took home Class 5A state titles at the 2025 State Wrestling Championships over the weekend.

The Guthrie Girl’s Tennis Team placed 3rd at the Carl Albert Invitational Tournament on March 1st. (L-R) Hollie Mitchell and Haven Hudson placed 5th at 2 doubles, Lola Brown placed 2nd at 1 singles. In the semi-finals she defeated the one seed Bishop McGuinness. Kenzie Hardesty placed 6th at 2 singles and Aspen Mitchell and Rylee Tobin placed 5th at 1 doubles. Submitted photo

Guthrie High girls’ golf standout Audrey Allen made her college pledge official last week after signing with the Bethany College (Lindsborg, KS) golf program.Allen signed her name on the dotted line on Friday, Feb. 28, from inside the GHS library in front of her family, coaches and fellow students.

On Saturday, February 22, our school teams participated in the Mustang Bronco Showdown, showcasing their skills in the Color Guard, Drill, Academic, and Raider events. The competition was fierce, but our students delivered impressive performances across the board.
