Herendeen, Hall Win 5A State Titles at Wrestling Championships

Guthrie senior wrestlers Kaedin Herendeen and Bryson Hall tied the bow on a special season after both took home Class 5A state titles at the 2025 State Wrestling Championships over the weekend.

GHS golf’s Audrey Allen signs with Bethany College

Guthrie High girls’ golf standout Audrey Allen made her college pledge official last week after signing with the Bethany College (Lindsborg, KS) golf program.Allen signed her name on the dotted line on Friday, Feb. 28, from inside the GHS library in front of her family, coaches and fellow students.

Guthrie hoops season ends with regional losses

Both Guthrie High School boys’ and girls’ basketball teams saw the end to their seasons in the opening round of their respective regional tournaments last week, concluding two difficult seasons for the Jays and Lady Jays.

Five Bluejays Qualify for State Wrestling Tourney

The Class 5A wrestling state tournament brackets are set and a handful of Guthrie wrestlers are set to make the trip to State Fairgrounds Arena after top finishes at the 5A East Regional in Claremore over the weekend.
