Bluejays’ tennis takes on Duncan West tourney

The GHS boys’ tennis team returned to the OKC Tennis Center Monday for the Duncan West Tournament, picking up a T-9th-place finish. Guthrie took fourth in the No. 1 Doubles bracket and fifth in the No. 2 Doubles but couldn’t find the same success in either of the Singles tournaments.

Langston hoops knocked out in NAIA Round of 16

Langston basketball saw its season come to an end Thursday in the NAIA National Tournament, losing 95-65 to No. 1 seed College of Idaho.The Lions advanced to the Round of 16 in Kansas City after defeating Saint Mary (KS) in round one, then Central Baptist in the Round of 32.

Cashion baseball takes on Stroud Tournament

The undefeated Cashion Wildcats head into their second tournament in a week on Thursday as they’re set to compete in the Stroud Tournament at Stroud High School.

CHS’ McGuire, Stockton picked as All Star wrestlers

Cashion head wrestling coach Fay Barnett saw two of his athletes earn postseason honors as Wildcats’ seniors Cooper McGuire and Matthew Stockton were named to the 2025 Class 3A All-Star wrestling team by the Oklahoma Coaches Association.

Guthrie Wins Three Before Spring Break

Guthrie soccer edged out by Christian Heritage

Thursday’s showdown between Guthrie girls’ soccer and the visiting Christian Heritage Academy Crusaders was a game of phases.One phase would end up in half an hour of back-and-forth shut down defense. The next would be a burst of scoring for 20 minutes, then another half hour of defense.

Guthrie AJROTC defeats Kaiser High School

Shooting their highest score of the season Guthrie AJROTC defeated Kaiser High School 925.4 to 897.5 in the 2025 National Air Rifle New Shooter League. Their third win in a row. Guthrie AJROTC was led by Jesseana Holder who shot a 273.6.
