Ruth was born on August 23, 1936, in Guthrie, Oklahoma to George and Louise Lester. She grew up in Guthrie and attended GHS. At the youthful age of seventeen she married the love of her life Charles “Sam” Clark. She sailed alone on the Queen Mary to England where Sam was stationed. Our Mum was the epitome of a devoted wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She embodied the true spirit of love, compassion, and unwavering faith throughout her remarkable life. She is now strolling through her heavenly home hand in hand with her husband Sam of 67 years. She was also preceded in death by her parents and siblings with her being the baby.
