Noel “Gene” Jackson Farley, Jr.

Noel “Gene” Jackson Farley, Jr. passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020. Noel was born in Holdenville, OK on June 6, 1929 to Noel and Virgie (Norman) Farley.

On October 11, 1948 he was united in marriage to Barbara Hawkins and they spent 70 loving years together. Noel proudly served in the United States Army, retiring as a Master Sargent. Noel enjoyed all kinds of woodworking but especially building bird houses. He always stayed busy doing something and occasionally, he enjoyed going to the casinos.

Noel was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two children; Steven Farley and Carla Proffitt and three siblings; Wanda Flowers, Genny Farley, and Bill Farley. He is survived by his son David Farley and wife Bev, daughter Vickie McHone, son Noel Farley and wife Diana, and daughter in-law Donna Farley. Noel was blessed with nine grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Fort Sill National Cemetery in Lawton, Oklahoma with pastor Roger Snow officiating. Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma.
