Linda Irene Ewing Cameron, 77, passed away January 29, 2021 after a courageous long fought battle with pneumonia hindered by two broken hips. She was born August 4, 1943, in Guthrie, OK to Irene and Sidney Ewing.
Linda is a member of the First Christian Church in Guthrie. She retired from a career in the banking industry. Her passions are gardening, lawn care and art. She loves animals, especially dogs, and enjoys music and playing cards. Her quick witted sense of humor, her smile and the aura radiating from her kind, gentle, compassionate and loving soul will always be remembered.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Shirley Pratt and JoAnn Kent , and husband Randy Cameron.
She is survived by her sons Steve Thomason of Mulhall, and John Thomason and wife Desiree of Mulhall, five grandchildren: Dustin, Seth and wife Ady, Jacob and Karlie; two greatgrandchildren: Blakeley and Brody; several nieces and nephews; five true best friends for life: Eddie Joyce, Gayle, Judith, Nolabeth and Sherry; and a multitude of loved family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at First Christian Church with Pastor Ronnie Fields officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, 220 North 1st St., Guthrie, OK 73044.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home and then at First Christian Church until service time.
