Fonda Jayne Carroll

Fonda Jayne Carroll, age 54, passed away on March 13, 2024, in Guthrie, Oklahoma. She was born on March 10, 1970, to Melvin and Erline (Triplett) Lynch.

Fonda spent most of her life in Guthrie, where she graduated from Guthrie High School in 1988. She excelled in softball as an All-State pitcher.

Fonda attended Oklahoma State University and later became a nurse, dedicating her life to serving others. In her early life, she attended St. Mary's Catholic Church and later Community Church, where she found solace and comfort in her faith.

Fonda had many interests, including cooking and sewing, but her love for coaching truly stood out.

Survivors include her son Jacob Seaton and fiance Shea McKenzie, daughter Ellie Seaton Davis and husband Ty, mother Erline Lynch, sister Ladonna Sifers and husband Stephen, sister Sandy Stout and husband Leon, and her lifelong best friend Jamie Weinand. Fonda was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Lynch, and brother Bobby Lynch.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Don Riepe officiating.
