Diana Jean Knight

1953 - 2026

Diana Jean Knight, age 72, of Edmond, Oklahoma,passedaway peacefully on May 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on September 25, 1953, in Wichita, Kansas, to Dean and Donna Hinckley, who preceded her in passing.

Diana was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was defined by love, faith, and an open heart. She is survived by her beloved husband, Ralph Knight, with whom she shared a lifetime of partnership, laughter, and devotion.

She leaves behind her children:Angela Wages and her husband, Doug Wages, along with granddaughter, Chloe Matthis; Ryan Knight and his wife, Jennifer Dorand, along with their children, Noah and Ava Knight; and Amanda Price and her husband, Lowell Price. Diana’s love extended deeply to each of her children and grandchildren, whom she cherished beyond measure. She is also survived by her brothers, Robert Hinckley and his wife, Rosalie, along with their children, and Ronald Hinckley and his wife, Mary, along with their children. Diana held her extended family close and celebrated the bonds that kept them connected.

In1987,Dianaopened her heart and her home in a profound way by adopting Angela as her own daughter, a testament to the unconditional love that defined her life.

Diana was known to many as more than just a mother—she was everyone’s mom. Whether as a sports mom, Boy Scout mom, homeroom mom, or sponsor mom, she gave her time, energy, and encouragement generously to every child who crossed her path. She had a gift for making people feel seen, supported, and loved.

A devoted Oklahoma CityThunder fan, Diana could often be found cheering passionately from her living room, never hesitating to yell at the television while rooting wholeheartedly for her team. Her enthusiasm and spirited nature brought joy and laughter to those around her.

Above all, Diana was a strong and faithful believer in Christ. Her lifewasareflectionofher deep faith—filled with compassion, kindness, and unwavering love for others. She lived her beliefs daily, offering grace, encouragement, and care to everyone she encountered.

Diana’s legacy is one of love without limits, faith without hesitation, and a life well lived in service to others. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.

Memorial services for Diana were held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 1, 2026 at Noble Avenue Baptist Church located at 1219 West NobleAvenue, Guthrie, Oklahoma 73044. Arrangements were under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, 220 North 1st Street, Guthrie, Oklahoma 73044.
