Uniting Generations of Bluejays Homecoming at Guthrie High School is about more than school spirit—it's about bringing generations of Bluejays together. As Student Council members Emalyn Redman, Lola Brown, Savannah Ingle and Addison Long worked alongside parents Amy Ingle and Amelia McCormick with Homecoming shirts, the Jurassic Jays theme and Blue Out game spirit began taking shape. Inside the gym, the annual Alumni Homecoming Assembly brought the school community together to honor those who came before.

Under a sea of blue and silver, the 2026 Homecoming Royalty Court took center stage at the Student Homecoming Assembly. Zoe Adams, Cade Carey, Isabella Turner, Dane Henson, Megan Mefford, Daelon Rice, Brooklyn Schmidt, Skylor Scamman, Malaya Brown, Dominic Officer, Kenia Herrera Ayala and Gabriel Jackson represented their classes. Flower girl Logan Plagens and Crown barer Sutton Sanders are the youngest royalty to carry on the Bluejay Traditions. Returning Queen Brooklyn Schmidt added another chapter to her
Blue Out, Jurassic Jays Spirit Homecoming spirit came to life as Student Council members Emalyn Redman, Lola Brown, Savannah Ingle and Addison Long joined parents Amy Ingle and Amelia McCormick around a table of Homecoming shirts. With Blue Out as the game theme and Jurassic Jays as the Homecoming theme, the group helped bring school spirit and tradition together. From preparing shirts to supporting school activities, Student Council and their families played a part in making Homecoming memorable.
The junior class wasn't about to let the Blue Out pass quietly. Kennedi Wheeler, DeMarcus Officer and Xavier Harriman turned up the energy at the Student Homecoming Assembly, challenging their fellow juniors to show just how much Bluejay spirit they could bring. Guthrie had it all this Homecoming weekend, and Bluejay pride was on full display.
The annual celebration brought former classmates back home for class reunions, while block parties, tailgates and other gatherings filled the community with Homecoming spirit before kickoff.
The festivities continued at Jelsma Stadium, where the Guthrie Bluejays hosted Blanchard Friday night. Homecoming royalty was crowned before the game, with the Guthrie band, color guard and JROTC adding to the traditional celebration.
Fans packed the stands as the Bluejays took the field, capping a day filled with school spirit, memories and plenty of hometown pride.
