Annual ‘Santa Fly-In’ Planned

All are welcome to this FREE ‘Santa Fly-In’ vent sponsored by the Guthrie-Edmond Regional Airport. This is a fun event for kids and families to learn about the airport, check out some unique aircraft, and spend some time with the man-in-red himself.

Sanitary Sewer Lift Station Retrofit Awarded

The City of Guthrie/ Guthrie Public Works Authority (GPWA) awarded Bid No. 2023-05 Lift Station No. 4 Retrofit Project to the contractor, Slattery Construction, at the regular meeting held on November 21, 2023 in the amount of $246,139.00. The project consists of retrofitting an existing sanitary sewer lift station no. 4 on the west side of Guthrie.

Water Main Replacement Project Awarded

The City of Guthrie/ Guthrie Public Works Authority (GPWA) awarded Bid No. 2023-04 APRA Water Main Replacement project to the contractor, Southwest Water Works, LLC of Oklahoma City, at the regular meeting held on November 21, 2023 in the amount of $1,745,286.00.

ODOT TAP Grant Project Awarded

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) has recently approved the contract with Ellsworth Construction, LLC to make upgrades to sidewalks and intersections along Division Street (Highway 77) in Guthrie. The project aims to increase accessibility on the sidewalks along Division from the alleyway south of Cleveland Ave. to the alleyway south of Harrison Avenue. ODOT has awarded the contract to Ellsworth Construction, LLC in the amount of $1,068,600.20.

Guthrie Rotary Student of the Week

Body
The Guthrie Rotary Club Student of the Week is Katelynn Siess. She is the daughter of Sean and Tonia Siess. Katelynn is active with the Pied Pipers, Treble Concert Choir and softball. She is a member of the National Honor Society. After graduation, Katelynn plans to major in Geology at OSU. Pictured with Katelynn is Rotary President, Tyler Calvert and Connie Thomason, candidate for Territorial Governor.
