Langston University has hired three new vice presidents to strengthen its administrative team, filling two vacant positions and adding a new role focused on strategic enrollment management. Diana Lasswell is the new Vice President for Institutional Advancement and executive director of the Langston University Foundation. She will oversee the Offices of Development and Alumni Affairs. Lasswell began her new role Aug. 10. An Oklahoma native from Claremore, Lasswell previously served as Executive Director of Planned Giving at the University of Oklahoma, Diana Lasswell along with many other senior positions. Lindsey Hunter will become Langston’s inaugural Vice President for Strategic Enrollment Management Sept. 8. She will lead admissions, recruitment, outreach, student financial aid and scholarships. Hunter has more than 20 years of higher education leadership experience focused on enrollment growth, student success and postsecondary access. Dr. R. Mark Rasor will become Vice President for Fiscal and Administrative Affairs Sept. 9. He will oversee financial and budgetary operations, human resources, Dr. R. Mark Rasor Title IX/ADA, facilities management and capital projects. Rasor currently serves as Vice President for Administration and Finance at Rogers State University. He previously held several leadership positions at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, including vice president for fiscal affairs and interim president. “We are so happy to have VP Hunter, VP Lasswell and VP Rasor join our Langston University family,” LU President Ruth Ray Jackson said. “Each brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will be an incredible benefit to our university.”
