Guthrie Listed As One Of The 150 Best Small Towns In America

Once again, Guthrie, Oklahoma has been chosen as one of the best small towns to visit in the United States. Family Destinations Guide (familydestinationsguide.com/ best-small-towns-in-america) has released its list of the “150 Best Small Towns in America in 2023,” and Guthrie is among 3 Oklahoma towns to make the cut. Guthrie has also been featured on BestPlaces. net, ParenthoodandPassports.com, and AttractionsofAmerica.com for being among the best places to live or visit.

Beautiful, historic Guthrie is frequently chosen for lists like these, an advantage that can be credited to the hard work done by the City of Guthrie, the Greater Guthrie Chamber of Commerce, the Guthrie Tourism Department, the Guthrie Parks & Public Grounds Department, the Logan County Historical Society, and the many community organizations and volunteer groups that refurbish buildings and landscapes and create festivals and events that draw people here and improve our way of life. Without Guthrie’s many museums, arts community, local businesses, and involved citizens, none of this would be possible.

Family Destinations Guide polled 3,000 families across the United States to create this year’s list. Perry and Medicine Park were the other two Oklahoma towns to be chosen. The top small town on the list was Holualoa, Hawaii, with a population of 2,827 people.
