ARCADIA – Kelsey Avants and Tim Gent will provide Morning Music on July 25, and Wild Heart will perform during the Elm Tree Concert Series on July 26 at the Arcadia Round Barn.

Avants and Gent, who are from Marlow, perform a wide variety of music and especially like swing tunes. Avants is a fiddler and Gent is on guitar. They will perform from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Wild Heart is a variety cover band from Luther that’s been performing across Oklahoma for more than 15 years. Members are Tonya Mandrell on lead and harmony vocals, “Doc” Louie Luton on lead guitar and vocals, Rodd Cole on bass and vocals and Mike Monroe on drums.

They will perform from 1 to 3 p.m.

All concerts are held outdoors beneath the shade of the giant elm tree on the north side of the barn. Masks and social distancing are encouraged. Admission is free but donations are accepted.

The Round Barn currently opens at 10 a.m. every Friday through Monday, but closes early some days due to the heat.

The barn is located six miles east of Interstate 35 on Historic Route 66. For more information about live music, call Oklahoma City singer-songwriter Joe Baxter at 405-833-1350.
