The quartet of Gallo, Gaymon, Rechlin and Murillo competed in the 4x100 but their preliminary time of 43.37 was not fast enough.

On the boy’s side, the Bluejays collected points from Justin Berryhill, who was eighth in the discus with a throw of 145-04; Kyran Axtell, Nate Benford, Jaylen Chelf and Marshal Self were fourth in the 4x200 in 1:30.30; and the 4x100 relay ran 43.29 to finish sixth.

The final points came from senior Lance Salee in the 3,200 with a seventh-place finish in 10:05.55. Freshman Isaiah Blevins placed 13th with a time of 10:39.85.

Salee would then close out his track season in the 1,600 on Saturday, running 4:38.60 to finish 11th. Teammate Eli Fortney ran 4:41.32 to finish 13th.

The Bluejays’ 4x400 relay was 10th with the quartet of Benford, Self, Axtell and Tyrin Eaton being timed in 3:28.68.
