Kenneth Eugene Wilkinson

1943-2023

Kenneth Eugene Wilkinson, at age 79, finished his race on November 17, 2023. He was born December 12, 1943 and raised in Guthrie, Oklahoma. In 1962, he married Mary Kathleen Walker and they had three children: Kenneth Eugene, Jr., David Wayne, and Katrina Marie.

In Kenneth’s younger years he worked for Gilt Edge Farms, starting as a milk delivery man and later managing Gilt Edge Farms in Guthrie. He retired from Autoquip Corporation after 30 plus years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Jo Wilkinson who died in 2007 and his son, David Wayne, in 2018.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary, of the home; son Kenneth Jr. and wife Anita of Coyle, OK; daughter-inlaw Tammie of Stillwater, OK; daughter Katrina Bode and husband Bobby of Guthrie; grandchildren Jeremy Wilkinson and wife Rebecca of Rhode Island, Dustin Wilkinson and wife Katie of Coyle, Oklahoma, Jessica Reynolds and husband Andrew of South Carolina, Kyle Bode of Norman, Oklahoma, Kayla Ward and husband Jaren of Yukon, Oklahoma, Kaylee Bode of Guthrie, and 6 greatgrandchildren: Tucker Wilkinson, Crosby Reynolds, Tyler Wilkinson, Adaline Reynolds, Victoria Wilkinson, and Noah Reynolds. Kenneth is also survived by his brother Jerry Wilkinson and Linda of Arkansas; sisters Nancy Lancaster and Mike of North Carolina; Janey Lingerfelt and GW of Guthrie; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie with Pastor Robert Wagoner officiating Servicesareunderthe direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
