Haro l yn “ Lynn” Rosanne ( Ransom) Pierson, 87, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023 in Tulsa. She was born November 28, 1936 in Eads, Colorado to Harold and Williametta (Beaty) Ransom.
Lynn moved to Guthrie, Oklahoma when she was two years old to live with her grandparents, Lula and Earnie Ransom. She graduated from Guthrie High School in 1955. After graduation from high school, she attended and graduated from Tulsa University and went to work as a social worker for the department of human services.
She enjoyed all sports, reading, and card games.
Lynn is survived by her three children: Cheryl Danni and husband, Jerry, David Pierson and wife, Sharon, and Jill James and husband, Jeff. She is also survived by five grandchildren who were the highlight of her life: Josh James and wife, Liz, Jay Pierson, Justin James, Joseph Danni and fiance JoJo, and Megan Pierson Tauch and husband, Kenneth.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Smith Memorial Chapel, Guthrie. Interment followed at Summit View Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
