Edgar Carl Brown, 80, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021, at home in Los Lunas, New Mexico. He was born December 14, 1940 in Perkins, Oklahoma to Edd Clark and Macie Adelia (Kirk) Brown.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, wife Roberta (Sanchez) Brown in 2015, and by brothers Ed Brown of Guthrie, OK and Richard Brown of Wichita, KS, and sister Mary Jo (Brown) Maker of Guthrie, OK, and nephew Jameel Alkadhimi, Guthrie, OK.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia, his son, Eric (Linda) Brown of Albuquerque, NM, his daughter, Dawn Brown of Albuquerque, NM, and his daughter, Victoria Christensen (Mike) of Flower Mound, TX (currently living in Germany). He is also survived by his brother Allen (Sheri) Brown of Guthrie, OK, and three sisters, Carolyn (Cecil) Hamilton of Harrah, OK, Nelda Brown of Edmond, OK and Martha Evans of Guthrie, OK. Surviving are his six grandchildren: Shannon (Jeff) Clark, Drew (Margo) Watkins, Carson

Watkins, Brady Watkins, Ethan Brown, and Bethany Brown, and five great-grandchildren, Kyler Clark, Hayden Clark, Austin Clark, Maddie Clark, and Liam Watkins, along with an abundance of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Carl graduated from Guthrie, OK High School in 1958 then enlisted in the US Air Force. He served proudly over 20 years at many different Air Force bases in the United States and in places such as Vietnam, Greece, England, and Germany. After retirement, he worked at Vance AFB in Enid, OK, until his second retirement. The family moved to Los Lunas, New Mexico, where he lived out the rest of his life, always in service to others through work in his community.
