Firefighter Ben Cunningham has successfully earned his paramedic license after completing an intensive yearlong program through the School of EMS at the Guthrie Fire Department. Cunningham recently passed his national paramedic exam, marking the completion of his training. The Guthrie Fire Department is proud to have dedicated professionals like Paramedic Cunningham who continue to go above and beyond to better serve the citizens of the community. Pool group gets 30 more days to raise funds

Tim Willert, correspondent A group of Guthrie residents raising money to offset the cost of replacing the Highland Park Pool received another extension from the city council during the February 17 meeting. The council voted 6-0 to extend the group’s fundraising deadline by 30 days.
