Dr Jackson, Dr Montgomery, Dr Peterson: 'Langston University President Ruth Ray Jackson (left) said Dr. Clyde Montgomery, Jr., (center) was committed to academic excellence and institutional advancement during his time at LU. Dr. Jackson succeeded Dr. Montgomery in his role as Vice President for Academic Affairs when he retired in 2019, and Dr. Alonzo Peterson (right) now serves in the position.'
Dr Montgomery receives award: 'Dr. Clyde Montgomery, Jr., was inducted into the Oklahoma Higher Education Hall of Fame for his 47-years of exemplary service to Langston University, during which time his leadership had a significant impact in the STEM fields, institutional partnerships and accreditation.'
