Rachel Lynch and the Daydrinkers to perform at Arcadia Round Barn

ARCADIA – Rachel Lynch and the Day Drinkers will present an Elm Tree Concert from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 18, at the Arcadia Round Barn.

Lynch describes herself as a “silly lady, known to burp in many a mic onstage. She tours all over the United States as a funny folk solo act.”

Nick McPherson, Johnney Jones and B.J. Megginson were all part of a band called White Mule before they joined forces with Lynch. McPherson and Jones are from Noble and Megginson is from Norman.

Elm Tree Concerts are held beneath the shade of the giant elm tree on the north side of the Round Barn. Visitors can bring lawn chairs or sit at the picnic tables. Admission is free but donations are accepted.

The Round Barn is six miles east of Interstate 35 on Historic Route 66. The barn is open every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
For more information about live music at the barn, call Joe Baxter at 405-833-1350.
