Robert R. Lahti, 75, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026 under hospice care in Norman. Robert was born June 29, 1950 to Eino M Lahti and Dorothy (Bowen) Lahti in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
He grew up in Guthrie and graduated in 1968 from Guthrie High School and worked at the furniture factory. He also joined a wheat harvest crew and worked at Pizza Hut. He lived in California briefly with his sister and family but always considered Guthrie home.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Troy Don
Robert Ray Lahti
and Eino Clark Lahti.
He is survived by his brother Terry Lahti of Moore, Oklahoma; sister, Carol Derryberry and husband Ronald of Auburn, California; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Smith Memorial Chapel with interment following at Seward Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, 220 North 1st Street, Guthrie, Oklahoma 73044.
There will not be any visitation.
