Nancy Ann Durall 1945 - 2026

Nancy Ann Durall, 80, went to be with the Lord on the morning of April 30, 2026. Nancy was born on December 30, 1945, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Claude Wells and Ruth Wells (Turner). She was one of four children, the others being Larry Wells, Claudette Wells, and Steve Wells.

Nancy began her career in banking, which is where she met her future husband, Steve. Steve was working at Phillips Petroleum in downtown Bartlesville and Nancy worked at the nearby First National Bank of Bartlesville. Steve would “accidentally” come in to see her, and they would become the love of each other’s lives. They married in 1970 and later had two children, a son James and later a daughter, Suzanne. They would later move to Guthrie, Oklahoma where Steve would work for the state government and Nancy continued in banking. Nancy would later transition to working at the Guthrie Job Corps, a position she loved. She would always refer to the students there as “my kids.”

Nancy’s true loves in her life were her family and church. Her and Steve were married almost 49 years until his passing in 2019. Nancy adored her two children, seven grandchildren, and one great grandson. Nancy also loved her church family from Waterloo Road Baptist Church in Edmond. There she had many “adopted” family members. Too many adopted kids and grandkids to list, really.

Nancy spent the final years of her life surrounded by family, friends, and her grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her brother Steve Wells and wife Evelyn of Ayer, Massachusetts, her children James Durall and wife Christie King of Bentonville, Arkansas, daughter Suzanne and Hector Zamora of Edmond, grandchildren Lillie Huffman of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Abby Huffman of Kerville, TX, Monica Zamora of Oklahoma City, Caiden Huffman of Edmond, Aleeah Huffman of Edmond, Azalea Zamora of Edmond, and great grandson Kain Durall Kukla of Kerrville. (Son of Abby.)

She was preceded in death by her parents Claude Wells and Ruth Turner, brother Larry Wells, and sister Claudette Wells (Rahm).

Funeral services will be held on May 5th, 2026, at 10 am at Waterloo Road Baptist Church.
