Dorothy Lou (Teuscher) Marquardt was born on May 26, 1933, in Meridian, OK, to Louis H. and Ernestine G. (Peters) Teuscher. She passed away on January 11, 2026, in Guthrie, OK. Dorothy grew up and attended schools in Meridian, Edmond, and Guthrie, OK.
Dorothy married Delmar Marquardt on December 24, 1951. She accompanied Delmar and resided in Hawaii while he was based in Okinawa during the Korean conflict. They made their home in Midwest City, OK. Dorothy worked for 10 years at Western Electric in Oklahoma City, OK, and later retired to Guthrie, OK, with Delmar. They had two sons and one daughter.
Dorothy was preceded in death by husband, Delmar; two sons, Harold and Rodney; late-life partner, Cecil Crabtree; parents; brother, Clyde Teuscher; and sister, Mary LeGate.
Dorothy is survived by one daughter, Carol Mosley, and husband Rodney of Omaha, NE; daughter-in-law Anita Marquardt of Wichita Falls, TX; three grandchildren: Barrett Marquardt of Wichita Falls, TX, Samantha Kafka and husband Greg of Omaha, NE, and Matthew Mosley and wife Jamie of Omaha, NE; and one great granddaughter, Maysen Mosley of Omaha, NE.
Funeral services were held Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Community Funeral Home, 1624 N Pine St, Guthrie, OK, with Bill David Walker officiating. Interment followed at Summit View Cemetery, Guthrie, OK.
